This month has been filled with moments and memories of giving thanks to our SuperStarter Girls first ever Tennis Play Day with Yancey ES, to our PTO Harvest Fest, to our soldiers on Veterans Day, to our students with the Principal Challenge -“Miss Crummie is Missing” – to promote literacy & the love of reading, to Greater Virginia Green Building Council & ASHRAE  giving our school’s Rain Garden Habitat a Top Honor Award with a $1500.00 monetary award that will be used to expand the Living Lab learning opportunities, to our Local Farms – Farm to School Week – local beef, fruits and vegetables served at lunch and to two Saturday events – VA Film Festival’s Young Filmmakers Family Day and Girl’s Geek Day!  Below are images of our Thankful November!
